With nearly 25 years of experience within the interior design industry, Philip Sheffield is one of the premier designers in the area. His company, Sheffield Design Group, was established in 2001.

Philip Sheffield, a graduate of The University of Alabama, began his design career from "the other side of the desk" having operated two different showrooms at the Decorative Center in Houston, Texas for ten years, all the while moonlighting as he gained knowledge and exposure within the industry. After working a short time with a local designer, Philip decided to go it on his own.

Today, Sheffield Design Group, in its thirteenth year, has enjoyed continued growth as we have expanded our services and products to both our residential and commercial clients. This includes not only interior design utilizing fine furniture, rugs, artwork and accessories: but also design for lighting schematics, fixtures, flooring, surfaces and custom cabinetry. Through our experience with numerous builders in Houston, we have tackled the full range of projects from period remodels in the Heights to the current 'rage' of townhome living, and of course custom luxury homes in the multi million dollar market.

While high-end residential is our forte, we have also been successful in the aforementioned commercial area for both retail and restaurant establishments. Our services within this realm have included build-out design.

Our client base extends from Texas to California, Chicago, Florida and New York. These clients and their generous referrals have allowed us to diversify in style and scope of work. While a Manhattan high-rise may require a deft hand on the contemporary side, those on the West Coast have a definite idea on what "Spanish Revival" really means. We embrace all of this with equal passion and are inspired by the challenge of taking a client's wish list and interpreting that into the vision they had only dreamed of.
